4 Purpose of and reason for personal data processing

The primary reason for the processing of personal data is the customer relationship between Maarit Tiililä Oy and the customer, the customer’s consent, the assignment given by the customer or other relevant connection.

The customer register may also store other personal data that is necessarily related to the assignments, which may be related to the personnel of the organization represented by the customer.

Personal data may be processed for the following purposes: handling the customer relationship and assignments, managing and executing the related communications and marketing.

Customer register processing tasks are not outsourced.

5 Register data content

Information concerning the registrant such as, but not limited to, the following may be stored in the register:

Name, education, employer, job title, address, telephone number, email address and other necessary contact information.

The work personality profile, notes, inquiries made during the customer relationship and the like relating to the registrant. Information and notes related to the purchase and payment of services. Information related to the processing of the data, such as the date of recording and the source.

6 Retention period of personal data

The company retains personal data in the customer register until the customer relationship between the registrant and Maarit Tiililä Oy can be considered terminated. The expiration date is determined from the registrant’s last service contact, or any contact, plus 10 years.

Some data may need to be retained longer for legal reasons.

7 Regular data sources

Data is obtained primarily from the following sources:

Registered by the customer themselves and events related to the registrant’s customer service, use of services, communication and transactions. In addition to direct customer contact, the Survey Monkey survey tool, the WOPI work personality analysis and the WorkPlace Big5 analysis are used as data collection tools, each of which the customer responds to during the customer relationship.

8 Regular data disclosures and data transfer beyond the European Union or the European Economic Area

Customer information will not be disclosed outside Maarit Tiililä Oy other than in accordance with an agreement, the customer’s separate consent and/or specific statutes.

Maarit Tiililä Oy has ensured that the service providers participating in the processing of personal data (WorkPlace Nordic Oy, Competence Dimensions Oy, Survey Monkey, Tilisakut Oy) comply with the privacy policy.

Customer information is transferred outside the European Economic Area through WorkPlace Nordic Oy’s partner Paradigm Personality Labs and Survey Monkey. However, the personal data is protected as required by the Personal Data Act, as both suppliers have joined the so-called Privacy Shield program between the EU and the USA.

9 Description of the principles of register protection

Material in paper form is stored in a locked area, which can only be accessed by individually authorized employees.

Access to digital material is only possible with the personal username and password of the authorized employee.

10 Profiling

Maarit Tiililä Oy does not do any profiling related to customer information.

11 The right of the registrant to object to the processing of personal data and direct marking (right of prohibition)

The registrant has the right, in connection with their personal special situation, to object to the processing operations that Maarit Tiililä Oy applies to the registrant’s personal data insofar as the basis for processing the data is the customer relationship between Maarit Tiililä Oy and the registrant.

The registrant may submit a request to object to the processing of their data in accordance with section 1 of this privacy policy. In connection with the claim, the registrant must identify the specific situation on the basis of which they object to the processing.

Maarit Tiililä Oy may refuse to carry out the request regarding the objection on the grounds provided by law.
